This summer, keep the pre-teens and teens busy and off their phones with one of these fun camps. From fencing to coding, many camps are available in the SAR (many with overnight options too). Time to get off social media and learn what socializing is all about. Here are our favorite camps for teens this summer in Hong Kong.
For nearly 30 years, Treasure Island Group has been creating unforgettable summer memories for families across Hong Kong. Set on the beautiful golden sands of Pui O Beach in Lantau, their popular Surf & Adventure Camps give children aged 4 to 14 the perfect mix of excitement, skill-building, and outdoor fun.
Kids spend their days catching waves with professional surf instructors, trying stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, beach games, raft building, and team challenges. Every activity is designed to build confidence, encourage teamwork, and help children develop a real love for the ocean and the outdoors. Whether your child is a first-time surfer or ready for bigger adventures, the experienced team creates a safe, supportive environment where everyone can thrive and make new friends.
Parents consistently praise how their kids come home each day tired in the best way — full of stories, a little braver, and noticeably more confident after spending quality time in nature instead of indoors.

Dreaming of a summer where your child trades screens for fresh air, muddy knees, and genuine smiles? Ark Eden on Lantau Island offers exactly that kind of magic. Tucked away on a peaceful hillside in Mui Wo, these day camps invite children aged 5 to 11 to explore nature, make new friends, and build confidence through joyful, hands-on play.
Each week brings a fresh creative theme, with a wonderful mix of forest adventures, creative crafts, nature games, and sensory exploration. Trained leaders who specialise in Experiential Education, Forest School principles, Social-Emotional Wellness, and Wilderness First Aid keep groups small (1:8 ratio) so that every child receives plenty of personal attention and support in a safe, nurturing environment. It’s the kind of camp where kids come home tired, happy, and buzzing with stories about their day in the wild.
There’s something special about watching kids light up when they’re truly outside, getting muddy, laughing hard, and learning without even realising it. Friendly Rides & Guides has mastered that magic with their Summer Adventure Camp on Lantau Island.
From June 15 to August 28, 2026, children aged 7 to 15 spend their days mountain biking, mastering wilderness survival and bushcraft skills, tackling orientation challenges and big adventure races, splashing around at beaches and waterfalls, and playing team-building games that actually mean something. The experienced team creates a relaxed yet purposeful atmosphere where kids push their limits, build real confidence, and come home each day with stories they can’t wait to tell.
For 27 years, Faust International Youth Theatre has been giving children and teens in Hong Kong the joy of stepping onto the stage or onto the page in a supportive and exciting environment. Looking for a meaningful summer activity that builds real skills while keeping kids happily engaged? The Spanish Academy delivers one of Hong Kong’s most loved Spanish summer programs, run by native, qualified teachers who make every session lively and effective. As members of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, the academy proudly supports and promotes Spanish language and cultural activities throughout the year.
For little ones aged 2 to 5, Pasitos-style playgroup camps blend Spanish exposure with yoga, crafts, phonics, songs and snacks — turning language learning into joyful, natural play. Kids aged 6 to 9 explore deeper through interactive routines, storytelling and hands-on activities that boost early literacy and confidence when speaking with teachers and peers. Teens aged 10 to 15 enjoy more structured yet fun sessions focused on practical communication, cultural insights, and academic support, including pathways toward IGCSE or IB success.
If you’re hoping for a summer where your child’s imagination gets to run wild and their confidence grows with every performance, Creative Collab’s arts-based camps are a standout choice. From musical theatre and production camps to storytelling, radio drama, and creative writing, these programmes let children aged 2 to 16 explore their creativity in a fun, collaborative environment.
Each week features captivating stories drawn from beloved favourites like Lilo & Stitch, Willy Wonka Jr., Trolls, Neverland, Seussical, and even a full Shrek The Musical production for ages 8–14. Kids rehearse scenes, learn musical numbers, build characters, and work together toward a vibrant 45- to 60-minute stage show. With multiple convenient locations across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories, and flexible drop-in or weekly options, it’s easy to find the perfect fit.
