While keeping in line with safe social distancing practices during this pandemic, it’s still possible to make the most of Easter celebrations and traditions this year.
If you’re looking for a fun-filled Easter egg hunt with friends and family, look no further. Little Steps has the perfect solution for you!
Setting up the virtual Easter Egg Hunt:
First, you’ll need to purchase or make colorful Easter eggs. Once this is ready, scatter your Easter eggs around the home. To make it a party, you’ll need loads of kids to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt. Pick a date and time for your hunt, and send your guests an online e-vite. Be sure to include a Zoom video call code so that they can join in on the call on the day. Once your guests have RSVP’d, be sure to have the guests’ parents purchase their own chocolate Easter egg treats that the kids on the other end of the call can enjoy once the egg hunt is over.
On the day of the Easter Egg Hunt:
Take Easter attendance to make sure everyone is on the Zoom call before you start your party. Once all the attendees have arrived, you can begin your hunt. Using your back-facing camera, slowly walk around your home, following the path in which you scattered your Easter Eggs. As you do this, the kids on the Zoom call should search for the Easter eggs on their screen and point them out as you go. Their parents on the other end of the call can keep tally of how many Easter Eggs their kids spotted. At the end of the hunt, you’ll have had a proper virtual Easter egg hunt, and the kids on the other end of the call will have chocolate Easter eggs to enjoy from the safety of their own home as well!
It’s a perfect way to keep Easter traditions going this year. Happy hunting!
A safe and fun virtual Easter egg hunt!
Easter celebrations fall on April 4, 2021.
