Where To Celebrate Australia Day In Hong Kong

Australia Day is celebrated on January 26th – mark your calendar for the celebration of all things Australian.  Little Steps has rounded up the top events around town for kids and mom and dad too.

  • Australia Association Of Hong Kong

Australia Day BBQ: In traditional Aussie Day style, join them beachside as they fire-up the barbies, throw on a few bangers, have a couple of coldies, and round-up a PM’s eleven for a game of beach cricket!

  • Australia Day At FRITES

To celebrate the wonder of the Land Down Under, Australian-owned Belgian beer hall FRITES will be serving Stella Artois draught beer at HKD$26 throughout the Australia Day (or ‘Straya Day if you’re going full Aussie!) at all venues in HK.S  Be sure to watch the 6pm movie screening of Welcome to Woop Woop for Australia Day at all four locations of FRITES.

  • Australia Day BBQ At Maggie & Rose (Members Only)

This Australia Day, Maggie and Rose is throwing a snag on the barbie for a special Aussie themed BBQ! Bring your family and friends along for one cracka of an evening at the first Member BBQ of the new year in 2018. Complete with Aussie favorites like fresh prawns, BBQ Lamb, sausage sizzle, wedges with sour cream & sweet chili sauce, lamingtons, pavlova and more... For the adults, don't miss out a bucket of beer promotion for a true blue Aussie experience.

  • Australian Chamber of Commerce’s kick-off lunch

Join for a celebration lunch at Island Shangri La on January 26, 2018, at 12noon.
