The Cinnamon Bey Beruwala hotel, one of the newer members of Sri Lanka’s famous Cinnamon hotel chain, lies just an hour and a half away from Colombo on the south coast.  The Turkish architecture of this resort is inspired by the first Arab settlements built in Beruwala in the 10th century.
