Padel and pickleball have taken off in Bangkok and Phuket, and Krabi is finally catching up. Courts are still few and far between, so we’ve rounded up where your family can actually play right now, from a resort court in Klong Muang to a hilltop club on Koh Lanta. And there’s more on the way: Ao Nang is getting two new padel clubs, with the first opening this December and the second (complete with a pool and mini golf) in 2027.

Highlands Padel At Malee Highlands: Covered Courts Above Klong Dao, Koh Lanta
Padel With Sea Views, Plus A Kids Club Open To Every Family On The IslandHighlands Padel at Malee Highlands sits on the hill between Klong Dao and Long Beach. The covered court costs THB 1,200 per hour. You can rent rackets, and there are showers and a café at the Highlands Arena.

Yes. You can play at Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra in Klong Muang and Highlands Padel at Malee Highlands on Koh Lanta. Two clubs are coming to Ao Nang: Sabai Padel opens in December 2026 with four courts, and Aonang Padel Club is due in 2027 with five courts, a pool and mini golf.

Your options are limited to Koh Lanta right now: Malee Highlands and Pimalai Resort and Spa (guests only). We didn’t find any public pickleball courts in Ao Nang or Krabi Town.
Can kids play padel?
Yes. Padel is easier to learn than tennis, and Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra runs group lessons that work well for families.
