Tiong Bahru Bakery
Tiong Bahru Bakery is now the byword for luscious French patisserie in Singapore, and Kougin Amann, a Breton cake, is its most revered creation. TBB procures a good selection of coffees and teas to pair with its fanciful treats, which are perfect for sharing. It can get crowded here at times, but highchairs and a glass display at toddler height makes it easy to bring the kids here.

This cozy coffee shop serves the island's only Slayer espresso from beans roasted onsite. Jimmy Monkey serves one of the strongest cuppas in town, and there's even alcoholic milkshakes for naughty parents.
