Critically acclaimed as the best of its kind, the annual Macau International Fireworks Display Contest is an unmissable event! Up till now, this world-class pyrotechnic extravaganza has hosted over 100 international teams from China, the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Korea, and more.
The fireworks display contest takes place every year on the Macau Tower Shorefront from mid-September to October. Visitors choose to visit Macau at this time of the year for a special holiday illuminated by spectacular displays in the night sky. This year, you can see fireworks displays on September 9, 16, 23, and on October 1 and 7. The fireworks can be viewed from various vantage points on the Macau Peninsula and Taipa Island, and you can visit next to Macau Tower on each display night for a fireworks carnival that offers a mix of delicacies, music, dance performances and games.

Much like paintings in the Macau night sky, these fireworks are breathtaking and hard to miss!
Of course, there is no age restriction, but note that younger kids may be frightened by the loud sounds of fireworks.
