The Space exhibition trasnports a millennium into the past, when our ancestors gazed at the heavens and pondered the mysteries of the universe. Drawing inspiration from their boundless imagination and thirst for exploration, you can now trace the footsteps of China’s aerospace industry, using state-of-the-art audio-visual technology, and creating immersive and interactive exhibitions.

During WILD, you experience a 45-minute spellbinding film that showcases 47 species of Africa’s native wildlife across eight captivating episodes. The dynamic and sensory-rich presentation invites audiences into the heart of the African savanna in an interactive and grandiose adventure that evokes wonder and emulates a safari expedition.

Filmed across Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, and Tanzania, the project was helmed by Radical Media, known for their acclaimed work on “Hamilton.” The making of “WILD” spanned over two years and harnessed the skills of accomplished filmmakers and technologists from the U.S., the U.K., and various African nations, ensuring the depiction of Africa’s diverse ecosystems from dawn till dusk was authentic and breathtaking.

The Illuminarium boasts one of the world’s most sophisticated immersive systems, delivering a strikingly lifelike experience. Upon entering, visitors are enveloped in sounds of Africa, with a soundtrack featuring genuine African percussion and instruments, enhancing the sensation of being on a real safari. Crystal-clear imagery is achieved through 4K laser projections, beaming 2.4 billion pixels that make the wildlife appear tantalizingly close. An elaborate network of over 2,000 speakers crafts a 3D soundscape that adapts both to the visuals and the movements of the audience, amplifying the immersive auditory experience. Ground sensors react to visitor movements, replicating the vibrations of the savanna’s great beasts’ footsteps.

The Illuminarium at Wynn Palace welcomes guests from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. “SPACE” welcomes its first group at 11:15 a.m. and the last at 2:00 p.m.; “WILD” begins admitting guests at 3:15 p.m. and continues until 6:00 p.m. Standard ticket prices are set at MOP228, with discounted rates of MOP188 available for Macau students, seniors 65 and older, children between 4 and 12, and those registered as “Wynn Insider” members. Macau residents can enjoy reduced entry at MOP168, while children aged 3 and under are admitted free of charge.
