US-based Pong cases launched in Hong Kong this month and promise to reduce exposure to potentially harmful mobile device radiation by up to 95% below international safety limits. Developed by a team of PhD scientists from MIT, Princeton, Harvard and UCLA, Pong mobile device cases (for smartphones and iPads) redirect radiation from the face of the device to minimize radiation exposure to one’s head, while simultaneously improving signal strength by up to 46% and extending battery life.
