HOW TO SURVIVE MORNING SICKNESS?
. Be prepared: It will surely happen to many pregnant moms! Be prepared and bring along your toothbrush, toothpaste, and perhaps a plastic bag for extreme situations.
2. Breakfast in bed, rushing out of bed on an empty stomach will have you rushing to the bathroom instead. Have a slice a toast in bed and slowly get up.
3. Don’t drink and eat at the same time, this helps avoid having too much in the belly!
4. Eat little and often – this way you sugar levels on an even keel.
5. Bland foods rock – well they do if you have morning sickness!
6. Drink between meals, I know its hard to keep the fluids down. But staying hydrated is vital when pregnant.
7. Get all the beauty sleep you may require, stress and exhaustion will add to nausea.
8. Keep a ‘Morning Sickness Journal’, then you can track when your nausea peaks and when you feel fine. Making it easier to find windows when to have meals.
9. Don’t walk down Sheung Wan’s Chinese medicine streets!
10. If you have walked down a particular street that triggers morning sickness, have some fresh lemons to sniff on, this may ease nausea.
