Little ones can start as early as 18 months and at this age mom and dad can get involved too. Older kids will focus on teamwork, specific skill development, speed and agility movements. Children will learn how to pass to their teammates, find space on the pitch, dribble at speed and control the ball using their head, knee, and chest.
Football is one of the most popular sections in the KCC with more than 250 junior and youth players and about 100 senior players taking part in football training, matches and other events over the course of a season. Their girl's team is one of the biggest in Hong Kong, and with girl football teams being rather scarce in the city. KCC has a big field and matches are played on Saturdays.

Sai Kung Sharks Football Club was started in 2010, and their love for football has created a strong community amongst the kids and their parents. The club delivers four structures training sessions each week. Every Saturday from September to June they tournaments and they have friendly games all over Hong Kong and Shenzhen. They have a lovely coach who was a 2-time winner if the West African Cup.
Players will receive coaching that will develop the skills, ball sense, and tactics needed to play great soccer. As competitive games are an essential aspect of soccer, students play games every session. Teams are kept small and changed frequently. They also run regular interclub tournaments, along with social events and holiday programs.
At Woodland kids who join the Soccer club are taught the essentials of soccer skills such as ball control, kicking, dribbling, spatial awareness in a fun and interactive carefully designed for the appropriate age. They will also have the chance to play in teams, try different positions and learn about match rules.
Chelsea FC Soccer School offers football courses for little one ages 3-17 years old. They also work with Santos Soccer Training to give you the best coaches in Hong Kong. Sessions run once a week for an hour and 30 minutes each time. When first enrolling in the Soccer School players receive a full Chelsea Adidas training kit (jersey, shorts, and socks).
Junior Soccer at the Hong Kong Football Club offers the opportunity for young players, boys, and girls, to learn and play the great game of football. Coached mainly by volunteers, the program is one of the biggest and most popular of its kind in Hong Kong with around 600 players participating in a season that runs from September to May.
