As part of Night Vibes Hong Kong, the city’s beloved Temple Street Market has been completely reimagined and revamped! For six months starting from December 15, 2023, visitors will be treated to an array of authentic decorations and must-visit photo spots as well as more than 20 authentic local and international food stalls.
As part of Temple Street’s new look, sparrows, street food stalls, dazzling light installations and signature pawnshop signs creatively adorn various areas of the market. The street decor lights come on at 5:00pm and stay lit till 11:00pm.
Indulge in the diverse culinary culture of Hong Kong at one of the many food stalls, and sample a wide range of mouthwatering local snacks, from fish balls, siu mai, and three stuffed treasures to mock shark’s fin soup, dim sum, and snake soup. And that’s not all! You’ll also find a variety of other Asian cuisines, including pepper cakes, spicy skewers, Turkish lamb, and Pakistani cuisine.
After satisfying your cravings, be sure to visit the 10 additional stalls that specialize in nostalgic snacks. Treat yourself to the delightful taste of candy and coconut wraps (sugar pancakes), Ding Ding candy, dragon’s beard candy, and even the elusive airplane olives that evoke sentimental memories for many locals.
