Hot off the press! You heard it right – the famed American restaurant Eggslut is opening very soon in Hong Kong and in Causeway Bay to be more precise!
The late (and great) Anthony Bourdain first coined the term “eggslut” to refer to chefs who add eggs to a dish to make it better – and that’s precisely what Alvin Cailan tried to do with his now international concept.
Founded in 2011 first on the back of the food truck and now with several bricks and mortar stores across the globe, the chef-driven gourmet food concept that celebrates the egg. Using only the finest quality ingredients, you will find an all-day dining menu at Eggslut that ranges from a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich to delicious cheeseburgers (topped with a cage-free medium egg of course), all served in warm and pillowy brioche buns (check out their full menu here).
The kids will love the fun and lively atmosphere – check back here soon for more details on when Egglsut will finally open!
