Hot off the press! Classy Rosewood Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui is launching a new restaurant, Chaat, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
With chef de cuisine Manav Tuli at the helm—whose career has taken him through the kitchens of Chutney Mary and Tamarind, two of the best Indian restaurants in London—Indian restaurant Chaat boasts a menu of upscale classic street eats. We can’t wait to try the palak paneer, lamb dum biryani, and black pepper chicken tikka. Even the restaurant’s decor takes inspiration from Indian street life if the striking mural is anything to go by.
Indian restaurants are a dime a dozen in Hong Kong, but Chaat offers a little something different, namely an innovative approach to Indian dishes and swish surroundings.
Those looking to splurge a little for a special occasion. Oh, and spice lovers, of course.
Chaat joins two other restaurants on the fifth floor of the hotel: the convivial Bayfare Social and sleek steakhouse Henry.
