Jeju-Style Tamora Cafe Now Open In Hong Kong

A simple concept. A delicious experience. Tamora is a new cafe that opened in Tai Mei Tuk in September 2023. Inspired by South Korea’s Jeju Island, ‘Ta” means “island”, and  ‘Mora’ means “gather” in the Jeju dialect, piecing together the idea of an island where people gather to rest. The cafe was built upon the notion of providing stories that leave special memories in your life. While the journey may require some effort, each step towards this destination promises an extraordinary experience. Tamora’s minimalist and concrete-themed interior spans three levels, each with its unique layout, creating an open and inviting ambiance. The cafe is bathed in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, amplifying the sense of spaciousness. The icing on the cake is the expansive rooftop, boasting breathtaking panoramic views, perfect for capturing unforgettable Instagram moments.

Tamora goes above and beyond in satisfying culinary cravings as well. Their iced lattes and Jeju yuzu ade are must-tries, complementing the atmosphere flawlessly. It is worth noting that although the cafe officially opens at noon, we highly recommend arriving at 11:30, especially if you plan to travel by car, as parking spaces are limited.
