If heading out to sea for a fishing trip isn’t an option, then prawning right here in Singapore might just be what you need to spend some quality time with the kids. There are some great little farms on the little red dot for you and the kids to prawn to your heart’s content. Here are some of our favorite places where the kids can fish for prawns for hours on end!

FISH @ BUGIS+
Located within Bugis Shopping Mall, this is Singapore’s only indoor fish farm. Air-conditioned, spacious and easy to locate, we absolutely love it. It has a bar for moms and dads, a fish spa, and fishing just for the kids. They’re also open 24 hours, which is totally useful if the kids are having trouble sleeping and you need to keep them busy. Head down here for a luxurious prawning experience!

HAI BIN PRAWNING
This is one of the most popular prawning farms in Singapore. Located in both Sembawang and Punggol, both are open 24 hours. The ponds are replenished frequently, so even the most novice of fishermen should go home with something in their bucket. It does get busy on the weekends, so come early to grab the best spot for some fishing therapy!

PRAWNING AT ORTO
ORTO has by far Singapore’s largest prawning facility and is a great place to lull the day away. There’s food and drink stalls, trampolining, paintballing as well as the prawn park. There are over 10 ponds to choose from, so check out which one you think is going to bring you the most fish. It’s a bit fancier here as compared to other facilities so prawning is slightly costly.

RIVIERA PRAWN FISHING
This is a quiet pond to visit if you need to fish for pure relaxation and without any distraction. Located next to Punggol golf course, it’s a lovely place to bring the kids during the weekends. There's a stall that sells food and drinks so no worries if the kiddos get hungry during their prawning adventure.

ATC Fishing Village atJurong Hill is open 24 hours a day, including Sundays and Public Holidays. After prawning, you can BBQ your catch for a sumptuous meal. There's even 1 hour of prawning given free, pluse you get 5.5 hours of loyalty points!
