A local favorite, Macau’s famous Red Market, is an historic art-deco building designed by local architect Julio Alberto Basto in 1936, and is also included in the Macao Heritage List.

Located in the charming backstreets of a bustling local neighborhood in the heart of Macau, visitors can witness local Macanese life and experience the Asian culture.

Inside find three busy floors of seafood, fresh produce, fruit and vegetables available twice daily from mainland China or locally. Surrounding the market, meander through the maze of shops and colorful food stalls selling flowers, clothes, bags, toys and household items.
