Level up your gaming by building your very own retro arcade game machine. With STEAM education being all the rage, and the maker movement here to stay, what better way to bring some learning to your video gaming experience than by constructing your very own machine. RetroCade is a made-in-Singapore business that offers super fun, entry-level workshops for all ages.
The workshops are designed for beginners in mind, this workshop is kit-based, with participants receiving their very own easy-to-build RetroCade kit. No complicated engineering skills required, just the ability to use an electric screwdriver. In this 3-hour workshop, an experienced maker will guide you through assembling the cabinet, wiring the buttons and joysticks, as well as setting up all the wires and speakers. All that’s left is for you to bring the fun!
This workshop is designed for both a parent and a child or child alone (aged 7+). The next workshop is taking place on November 9, 2019, from 10am to 1pm. Workshop fee: 1-Player Machine: SG$480, a 2-Player Machine: SG$850.
