Malaysia’s First Urban Indoor Farm Park Opens In IOI City Mall

Indoor Farm With Zoologists, Aquarists & Botanists On Board!

IOI City Farm Kuala Lumpur

Stretching across 18,000 square feet, this indoor farm is a permanent edutainment exhibition space with an “indoor living planet” concept, located at Level 2, IOI City Mall. Offering a wide range of fun family activities that are perfect for any day of the week, visitors can interact and observe more than 70 species of plants, farm animals and fishes! The farm was designed with the consultation and involvement of qualified zoologists, aquarists, and botanists, and aspires to be a place where all visitors, especially children can learn about the natural world in a fun and engaging environment made up of three different sections:

  • Green Land (Plant Zone): Displays aquaponics and carnivorous plants with an open terrarium display
  • Little Rimba (Animal Zone): Features pets like sugar gliders, hedgehogs, rabbits, and fennec foxes in a climate-controlled zone
  • Fresh Water World (Aquatic Zone): An aquarium zone with over 50 freshwater aquatic species from river giants

IOI City Farm officially opens to the public on August 25, 2022 and we’d recommend allocating about 2 hours to go through all 3 zones at IOI City Farm.
