Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park In Malaysia Opens
Fun In The Clouds Awaits For The Whole Family!
The much-anticipated opening of Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is finally here! Check out a brand new playground for endless entertainment in Genting Highlands. The resort has been working on its outdoor theme park for some time now, and the lockdown has somewhat thwarted opening plans. Nonetheless, we can’t wait to explore the nine movie and adventure-inspired ‘worlds’ once they do reopen!
Within each of the ‘world’, you can expect a different theme with unique rides, tantalizing dining options, fun retail outlets, and engaging live entertainment. There will be brand new, world-first rides to try out, suitable for the whole family!
Some of the worlds to look out for:
Eagle Mountain – Race to Victory
Experience the Californian desert at Eagle Mountain, a hangout for bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts. Not to be missed is the Mad Ramp Peak – Full Throttle Racing, the world’s first dual-powered coaster bike ride.
Central Park – Experience World-Class Offerings
Central Park is the largest ‘world’ here with attractions like the Natural History Museum, the stunning fountain show at the Lake of Dreams, Night at the Museum: Midnight Mayhem – an action-packed 3D interactive ride, ESD Global Defender – a flight on a hybrid aerospace fighter, and Independence Day: Defiance – an exhilarating space endeavor.
Rio – Vamos, Dançar, Rio!
You’re transported to the bustling neighborhood of Santa Teresa where fun, excitement, and samba music await! Meet the iconic characters from the unique double-decker Blue Sky Carousel, and get a spin on the Rio Carnaval Chaos! twirling teacups ride, then climb on the Samba Gliders up to a height of 65 feet for a bird’s-eye view of Rio.
Ice Age – The Coolest Adventure
Meet Sid and the gang in Ice Age: Expedition Thin Ice, and journey through ice caverns, Geotopia, and a flowing lava tunnel to find and save the lost campers of Campo De Sid. Thrill-seekers, jump on Acorn Adventure for a fun roller coaster ride. Then try Sid’s Rock N Slide, while younger ones can go wild at the Mammoth Fun Zone.
Epic – Explore the Hidden Kingdom
Enter this pint-sized whimsical world starting with Bomba’s House where the indoor boat ride of Epic Voyage to Moonhaven will let you tour with Mub and Grub and encounter the Epic Hummingbird Flyers.
Robots Rivet Town – Spin into Fun Times
It’s a world of inventions at Robots Rivet Town. Hop aboard Bigweld’s Zeppelins, and go on the Rivet Town Roller, an adventurous capsule ride.
Liberty Lane – Excitement at Every Turn
Visit the neighborhood of Liberty Lane to try out the Invasion of the Planet of the Apes ride, a brand new indoor 3D ride designed exclusively for Genting SkyWorlds.
