Awaken your child’s sense of awe and wonder through art as Ilham Gallery opens its doors, every month, to some of its youngest visitors during the Tours for Tots and Kids. Tours are specifically curated to give little ones special access to view and reflect on fine art. Too often, art experiences for young children only focus on the making of art. At Ilham, they aspire for their tours to be gentle first encounters for kids with various types of art, from paintings to sculptures. Through a parent-accompanied playdate-styled tour, kids are introduced to Malaysian contemporary artists and their works. How exciting! Kids engage, interact and interpret ideas as they walk about the gallery. Facilitators inspire conversations about art in fun ways that relate to your kids’ own unique experiences. A session ends with kids dabbling in art and craft to create their very own masterpieces.
