Oasis International School – Young Explorers Summer Camp 2019
K-5th Graders Explore The World & Science!
Oasis International School Kuala Lumpur is calling on all Young Explorers from kindergarten to 5th grade to inquire into the fields of science and the world at large!
Kiddos are divided into groups from K to 2nd grade and from 3rd to 5th grade (the latter welcoming those who finished 5th grade this year!), while the exploratory learning is approached from two standpoints, i.e. employs different materials to generate knowledge and expansion:
Academic Focus uses Reading, Writing, Math Social Studies and Science materials, but never in a dully factual way; kiddos learn through experimenting with reader’s theatre, discovery, discussions, writing and other projects.
Inquiry Focus emphasizes experimenting even more, letting students fully dive into discovery and exploration using different materials like digital tools, legos, food, crafts.
Looking for knowledge outside of books is in high demand, so book your young explorer’s spot asap!
Cost is 750 RM per week, which includes a balanced lunch from 12 to 1pm. Kids can also bring their own lunch, as long as it is nuts-free!

Week 1, Young Explorers in Science runs from June 24 to 28; Week 2, Young Explorers in the World runs from July 1 to 5. Both camps take place from 9am to 4pm every day.
