    Located at the east of Ma On Shan, Nai Chung Pebble Beach is a quiet sanctuary filled with pebbled shorelines (perfect for seashell collecting), low tides, sea views and a beautiful breeze that's appropriate for kite flying. There are kiosks and shops where you can get kites if you've forgotten yours.

    How to get there: Hop on bus 99 from Wu Kai Sha Station or bus 299X from Shatin Town Centre, where both buses will take you to Nai Chung terminus, which leads to Pebble Beach.

    If trekking to the New Territories is a bit too far for you - check this spot on Hong Kong Island. There are kiosks with paper kites available - so you don't have to worry about bringing your own!

    You can choose to either fly your kite on the main beach OR head over to the back beach which is just about 5 minutes away. It is smaller but quieter, less crowded and still has a beautiful breeze for you to fly your kite.

    How to get there:  Hop on bus number 9 at the bus terminal outside Shau Kei Wan MTR Station.

    How to get there:  Jump on the 103M minibus outside Tseung Kwan O MTR Station exit A1, A2 or C and alight at Tai Au Mun.

    You can also take bus 91 to Tai Au Mun outside Diamond Hill MTR Station exit C1 or C2.

    How to get there: Take the East Rail Line to University Station Exit B. Grab the Kaito ferry at Ma Liu Shui Pier near University MTR station.

    Or you can also head over to Wong Shuk Pier from Sai Kung. Head over to Sai Kung Bus Terminus - hop on bus 94 to get to Wong Shuk Pier.
