Even if you don’t have a sweet tooth, it’s hard to resist these chocolate-covered spheres! We’ve scoured the city for you to find the best Easter eggs and Easter-themed chocolates and treats Hong Kong has to offer – from popular named Easter eggs from the US and the UK, to more luxurious options. White chocolate, truffled, vegan, we’ve got it all here! Let’s get cracking!
People in the know know that for Easter eggs imported directly from the UK (think Salted Caramel Creme eggs, Cadbury Oreo eggs etc) look no further than The Gift Showcase to satisfy all your cravings. Bookazine also has a wide selection of Easter-themed sweets and goodies, as does Marks & Spencer's. Major supermarkets in Hong Kong will also have a good selection, perfect if you're looking for some eggs for an Easter egg hunt! Head to A&M for your Hershey's and Reese's fix! Mercato Gourmet has a great selection of Easter chocolates straight from Italy as well.
Charbonnel et Walker has some whimsical Easter delicacies for you to choose from, and we especially love their milk sea salt caramel truffles which come in a lovely Easter egg box. They also have handcrafted Easter eggs as well, which are equally delicious (like the pink handcrafted white chocolate Easter egg with Pink Marc de Champagne truffles!). The Cuddly Chickee Chocolate Gift Box from Lucullus (pictured) will be a treat for the kids: the chick is made of rice crispy dark chocolate and the enclosed gavel will help you reveal more chocolate eggs inside and rainbow marshmallows. Hotel patisseries and chocolate shops in Hong Kong also offer a great selection of Easter eggs, cakes and pastries to buy online, our favorites must be by The Peninsula, The Rosewood (check out their huge handcrafted Easter eggs) and Four Seasons Hotel. Other classic options include the delicious Venchi and La Maison Du Chocolat. Fortnum and Mason's don't just do Easter hampers but lovely nougat chocolate Easter eggs too. For vegan options, look no further than locally handcrafted Easter eggs by Conspiracy Chocolates. Planning an Easter-themed party? Baking Maniac has got you covered with his amazing sweet creations that will definitely elevate your table. YYY House of Cakes in Central makes some futuristic-looking chocolate bunnies as well.
