Hong Kong’s First NBA Flagship Store Is Now Open In Mong Kok

NBA Flagship Store Hong Kong Hours, Prizes, and Custom Lab Guide

Calling all basketball-loving families: Hong Kong’s very first NBA Flagship Store has officially opened its doors at The Forest in Mong Kok, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most fun new stops in Kowloon for sporty kids and their (equally sporty) parents.

Part shop, part interactive playground for hoop dreamers, the store blends global basketball heritage with sports fashion, gear and hands-on zones designed especially for the local community. Think Hong Kong-exclusive merch you can’t get anywhere else, a customisation lab, and a wall of authentic autographed jerseys from legends including Stephen Curry, Derrick Rose and Dennis Rodman — basically a mini basketball museum your kids can walk through for free.

“Ball Out HK”: A Peel-To-Win Game With A 100% Win Rate

Here’s the bit the kids will love. To celebrate the opening, the NBA Store HK is running its “BALL OUT HK” campaign — a peel-to-win game where every single card is a prize. No losing tickets, no disappointed faces.

How it works: From 18 September to 8 October, shoppers receive one “Peel to Win” card for every HK$500 spent in a single transaction. Spend HK$1,000 and you’ll get two cards, and so on.

What’s up for grabs:

  • The headline prize: an NBA China Games Ticket Package worth around HK$14,999, including a sold-out NBA China Games ticket, an NBA Fan Day 2026 ticket, and a five-star hotel stay in Macao
  • A limited-edition Derrick Rose autographed jersey
  • A collection of Hong Kong-exclusive merchandise

Prizes are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last. (Trade Promotion Competition Licence No.: 61823)

Hong Kong-Exclusive Merch Worth Bookmarking

Alongside the latest NBA drops, the flagship store debuts a line of pieces made just for the city — perfect for gifting or matching family fits:

  • Hong Kong Exclusive City Edition Tees
  • “+852 The Nostalgia Series”, a collaboration with local illustrator Roy Cheng that reimagines nostalgic Hong Kong heritage through classic basketball icons
  • A limited Hong Kong Edition Basketball — a genuine collector’s piece for the city’s basketball community

There’s also the Custom Lab, an interactive station where fans can personalise premium tees and crew necks with their own name and number. A brilliant birthday-gift idea, or a rainy-day activity that ends with everyone walking out in one-of-a-kind gear.

Save The Date: An NBA Legend Lands In Hong Kong On 5 October

The excitement doesn’t end with the opening. NBA Store HK is teasing an appearance by an NBA Legend at the flagship store on 5 October. Details are still under wraps, so follow @nbastorehongkong on Instagram for the big reveal, plus real-time updates on merch drops and player appearances.

Little Steps Insider Tips: Go on a weekday after school if you want space at the Custom Lab and clearer photos at the minibus wall. Bring exact team spellings before you print. Spend just over HK$500 in one bill if you want a card without overbuying — small accessories and kids’ sizes add up fast. Follow @nbastorehongkong before Monday, October 5, 2026 so you do not miss the legend drop time. After shopping, walk Sneaker Street or Ladies’ Market rather than doubling back through Nathan Road with tired legs.

How do I get a Ball Out HK peel card?

Spend HK$500 in one transaction at NBA Store HK between Friday, September 18 and Thursday, October 8, 2026. Each extra HK$500 on that same bill adds another card. Prizes are limited and first-come, first-served under Trade Promotion Competition Licence No. 61823.

Is the NBA Flagship Store safe for kids?

Yes, it is an indoor mall shop with regular retail security and air-conditioning. Keep little ones close near display cases and the Custom Lab heat press. Strollers fit The Forest corridors more easily than crowded Fa Yuen Street outside.

What is the Custom Lab at NBA Store HK?

The Custom Lab is an in-store station in the NBAHK Terminal zone. Families choose a tee or crewneck, then add a name and number on the spot. Spell the name before you queue so the press is quick and you leave with one-of-a-kind gear.

When should I visit for the NBA legend appearance?

The store has teased an NBA legend visit on Monday, October 5, 2026. Times and queue rules are not public yet. Follow @nbastorehongkong the week before, arrive early, and have a backup indoor plan if the line is long with kids.

How do I get to The Forest with children?

Ride the MTR to Mong Kok Station and walk to 17 Nelson Street. The Forest is air-conditioned and sits beside Sneaker Street. Pair the store with a short snack stop so the outing stays under two hours for younger fans.

Why Little Steps Loves It:

It turns a mall stop into a shared ritual, pick a number, peel a card, pose at the minibus wall, without needing a stadium ticket.

Who It's Perfect For:

Basketball-mad kids, jersey collectors, and parents who want one indoor, air-conditioned Mong Kok activity that still feels like an event.
