McDonald’s x Minecraft: A Blockbuster Collaboration Lands In Hong Kong

McDonald’s has teamed up with Minecraft to celebrate the release of A Minecraft Movie, launching a global campaign that merges the iconic fast-food brand with the beloved block-building game. Starting now and for a limited time only, fans can enjoy exclusive meals, collectibles, and digital experiences inspired by the movie and game!
What’s on the Menu?
The collaboration introduces two special meal options:
- Minecraft Movie Meal: Designed for adults, this meal includes a choice of a Big Mac, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, or McSpicy Chicken Sandwich, paired with medium fries and a drink. It also features the limited-edition Nether Flame Sauce, a spicy-sweet condiment inspired by Minecraft’s fiery Nether dimension.
- Minecraft Happy Meal: Aimed at younger fans, this meal offers classic options like hamburgers or Chicken McNuggets alongside fries, apple slices, and one of 12 collectible figurines based on characters from A Minecraft Movie.
Both meals come in pixelated packaging and include scannable codes for unlocking unique in-game content.
The collaboration features six exclusive collectibles for adults, such as:
- Big Mac Crystal: A shimmering tribute to the iconic burger.
- Grimace Egg: Inspired by Minecraft’s rare Dragon Egg.
- Birdie Wings: Elytra-like wings for imaginative flights in-game.
Each collectible comes with a card that unlocks special skins or tools in Minecraft. Happy Meals also include codes for a digital quest set in a McDonald’s-themed Minecraft world.
The Minecraft x McDonald’s collaboration is available across all McDonald’s restaurants and outlets and through their app.
