Six Senses Duxton is complete with the luxury amenities and facilities to be expected at a luxury resort, including Yellow Pot restaurant, which serves up authentic, innovative Chinese cuisine. The 49-room hotel is focused on allowing guests to prioritise wellness during their stay, while the property operates with a keen regard for it surroundings and the environment. Guests can enjoy community-based wellness activities that include neighbourhood and nature walking tours, outdoor yoga and indoor cycling classes and workshops centred around artisan coffee and Chinese tea appreciation. Local culture is infused into the property – the hotel itself is situated in a row of traditional shop-houses, expertly reconceived by British designer Anouska Hempel and rewarded by the Urban Redevelopment Authority Architectural Heritage Award, with a mix of Chinese, Malay and European elements that look to Singapore’s own heritage, but the hotel also looks to support the local community by prioritising local suppliers and entrepreneurs for various products and services.
