Not exactly by the sea, but on the sea is where Smith Marine Kelong Restaurant is at! Located right on a floating platform that is accessible by boat, this old school resto offers fresh seafood at its best. We recommend that you opt for their set menu when you take a trip there with friends and family. Sets include a soup, choice of crab, fish, prawns, clams, dessert, plus a 2-way ferry. One of the must-tries is the Lagoon Carrot Cake - simple, easy and oh so fragrant. Choose between black (with sweet sauce) or white versions from SG$6 onwards. Seafood is always a must when you're by the beach and Lagoon is synonymous with stalls serving up the freshest plate. Order up a deliciously barbequed Sambal Stingray and pair it with cincalok (fermented shrimp sauce) to top it off.
