Sentosa is Singapore’s ultimate playground for families. From Universal Studios and the S.E.A. Aquarium to Skyline Luge and Adventure Cove Waterpark, there’s no shortage of adventure. The hotel itself sits on the quieter end of Siloso Beach, giving you a private, calm stretch of sand with easy access to all the action. The complimentary shuttle to VivoCity mall and nearby tram stops means you're never far from dining, entertainment, or emergency baby supplies! Nature trails, Fort Siloso, and a kid-friendly zipline are just a stroll away.

- You can take nice beach walks and walks along the road (stroller-friendly) directly from the resort. In the evening, you can easily reach the free Sensoryscape - a nighttime outdoor audio-visual and augmented reality experience. Shea did this one evening and loved it - it's a blast for all ages.
- Shea loved the location of the hotel as it felt like its own destination. You do not feel you are minutes from one of the biggest cities in Asia. It's safe, easy to access, and so much fun. More attractions are here!

The resort is well-equipped with families in mind. Choose from Deluxe Sea View Rooms, Panoramic Sea View Rooms, or the ultra-spacious Family Garden Rooms, which come with direct access to the garden and are near the kids’ pool. Traveling with a bigger crew? The Deluxe Pool View Connecting Rooms give parents and kids their own space—hello, peace!

The Cool Zone Kids’ Club is a highlight, offering supervised play for children aged 5–12, complete with art corners, a giant treehouse slide, and storytelling. Kids above 5 can be dropped off anytime, and there is a slew of activities every day. The outdoor pool area includes a children’s pool with water slides and a splash pad for little ones. Lifeguards are on duty, and the beach is just steps away. For older kids and teens, there’s kayaking, paddle boarding, and even trapeze fun at the Flying Trapeze. Be sure to check out Nestopia, which is a massive outdoor playground.

- Nestopia is a very unique perk of staying at the hotel! This huge outdoor playground is open Wednesday-Friday with playtime slots here. Kids ages 2+ will go bananas here!
- Shea loved that the resort caters to all types of kids, including those with allergies, those with physical challenges, and all ages of kids (a perfect multi-gen holiday for sure).
- 3 waterslides and a splashpad for toddlers - need we say more?

DINING WITH KIDS: Food Options At Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Hotel
Foodies rejoice! The Silver Shell Café offers a kids’ buffet station with low counters, plastic utensils, and fun, healthy options. There’s also Trapizza, a beachfront Italian restaurant with a relaxed vibe and open play area nearby (Nestopia is around the corner). Silosa Beach Bar offers yummy snacks and drinks by the beach - let's go! Mom and Dad will love the Bubble Bar for scenic views and drinks.

- High chairs, kids' menus, and allergy-friendly options are readily available.
- Trapezza was such a nice treat - you feel like you are not eating inside a resort but a by-the-sea destination in itself. We loved it. It's a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
- Perk Alert! Kids under 12 can enjoy special dining perks at Shangri-La! If you're a Shangri-La Circle member (you can sign up during your stay), up to two kids aged 6 and under eat free at the buffet with a paying adult, and extra kids under 12 get 50% off.
