It’s planting season at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore! Book a staycation or hop on over to Singapore and let the kids take a turn at some true green thumb activity.
In the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore’s continuing support towards sustainability and cancer research, it offers its latest community outreach initiative – “Sow a Seed, Save a Life.” For S$25, guests will receive three seeds to plant in the Hotel’s 1,000 square foot eco-garden (bananas, limes, lemongrass…oh-my!). Delicious results have since sprung up from this harvest, including the basil used in Executive Chef Bruno Correa’s pasta and Applewood grilled dishes and chili in Jiang Nan Chun’s XO chili sauce.
Kids can take a turn planting for a good cause every Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5pm. Little planters will be supplied a cap, gardening gloves, and plenty of planting tools!
All proceeds from “Sow a Seed, Save a Life” will go towards Run For Hope 2011, an annual charity event organized by Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, The Regent Singapore and the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) to raise much needed funds for cancer research.
5-Star planting for a good cause with the kiddies!
