When the moon hits your eye like a big-a pizza pie, that’s amore!
You’ve warned your little one to never, ever play with food, right? Well this fun and informative home economics hothouse will have you eating your words. Learning about food, working with it, and understanding the magic of yeast are just some of the highlights of this customized cooking program for children 4 years and above.
At Doughworkz by Pastamania, every young chef is encouraged to claim his or her own work station and experiment with ingredients and utensils. While being furnished with the fun facts of dough making and history of the humble pizza, they’ll be knee deep in flour and water (well, almost!). You have been warned – it is a dusty affair!
The session is officially over when the delicious discs of cooked dough are cradled out of the ovens and every crumb devoured. It’s a great way to expand the repertoire of your child’s tastebuds thanks to the fun introduction to the world of mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and olives.
There’s a good chance that the ‘ole faithful Pizza Margarita will be passé to your little ones after this two hour session. Bring on the Quattro Stagione and Puttanesca varieties. Bravo!
It’s a fun atmosphere where little ones learn what goes into the food we eat.
Ages 4-12. You can also arrange your own group of 20 children for parties.
