
Step into a fascinating world teeming with roaming turtles and tortoises at The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum at the Chinese Garden! This is one place that’ll get your little ones squealing with delight when they get up close and personal with over 1,000 reptiles roaming freely around the landscaped gardens. Let your kids stroke and feed dozens of species roaming the gardens under the watchful eye of friendly staff and handlers. The lease of this museum is due to expire in March 2018, with no plans to reopen thereafter so do take a trip to visit these marvelous creatures soon!
Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm. Admission is SG$5.
Not only are most of the turtles and tortoises from the museum owner's personal collection, there are tons of extraordinary species never seen before, like the radiated and spider tortoises, highly dangerous alligator snapping turtle and even the unique golden temple turtle! Amazing!
Kiddos aged 3 and up..Do beware of little fingers as some of these turtles and tortoises can be snappy.
Visit the museum at the right time and you might even get a chance to catch the eggs hatching!
