A pioneer of Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) in Singapore, Pawsibility incorporates AAT in counseling and social-emotional development because they believe that the human-animal bond is singularly unique and well-positioned to touch lives, teach skills, and motivate change. Having graduated with a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver, Maureen Huang, Founder and Executive Director of Pawsibility, specializes in clinical work with families, specifically animal-assisted interventions. She believes that animals have a special ability to reach out to people and add a different dimension to the therapeutic experience.
At Pawsibility, programs are built around the use of Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) and Animal Assisted Play Therapy (AAPT) techniques, meaning that friendly therapy dogs will be present at every session to facilitate better therapeutic outcomes and make sessions lively, engaging and overall more fun. All therapy dogs are professionally trained and each session is facilitated by a professional therapist or psychologist who works together with these dogs to help achieve positive outcomes.

An alternative to the traditional counseling method, Animal Assisted Therapy has had positive outcomes especially with kids who are motivated to open up and share. The presence of the therapy dogs helps create a calm atmosphere and kids more often than not, learn qualities of patience and compassion.
Adults, youths and kids who need a hand in learning to strategize and cope with challenges in life.
Other than counseling sessions, Pawsibility also offers social-emotional learning sessions, Leadership-Lab Junior Edition where you gain insights towards becoming a leader of the future, Career Coaching Services, Psychological Assessments and conducts talks and workshops.
