The DADs For Life movement began with Jason's vision to inspire and involve dads to be good influencers in their children’s lives. His 17-year experience as a prison officer showed him the enormous impact of absent and abusive fathers on families and inspired him to start this movement that would strengthen father-child relationships in Singapore. Under the DADs for Life umbrella are initiatives such as DADs@School Forum, Back to School with DAD, Eat With Your Family Day, and Celebrating Fathers – to encourage fathers to spend time with their families and create a culture that promotes active fathering. Over the last decade, DADs for Life has grown to engage over 300,000 families each year. DADs for Life runs 150 programs yearly – ranging from parenting seminars to adventure camps – which facilitates bonding for over 18,000 families.

Daryl Chew founded Nail Deck in 2011 by importing foreign nail lacquer brands. In 2015, after managing 15 foreign brands under their portfolio, they felt the beauty world shifting in to personalization and non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free nail color formulations. Daryl and his team spent the next one and a half years developing their own formulations so that they can offer the highest quality customized nail lacquers to suit the ever-demanding needs and wants of their varied customer base. Daryl's kids are often involved in the concocting of nail colors and even naming them! Today, Nail Deck has evolved to become Singapore’s only specialist in innovative nail cosmetics and care through its in-house brands Light Lacquer and Aquajellie. With the ability to customize colors and help prevent buyers’ remorse, Nail Deck also aims to contribute less waste and promote sustainability.
