Just a short stroll from Pok Fu Lam’s Wah Fu Estate, visitors can discover a gushing waterfall down onto the small beach that has become known as Waterfall Bay Park. With a promenade home to porcelain statues of various deities that leads you to the natural fresh-water waterfall, this little wonder of nature is well worth a visit.
In addition, visitors will find relics from the Second World War – a pillbox and searchlight were constructed here and used by allied soldiers to defend the colony from the Japanese.
A little outing that takes in the wonders of nature and informs on the history of Hong Kong.
Access by buses to Wah Fu (4X, 4, 40, 40M, 30X and 4 from Central) and then a 10-minute walk.
