Walk through their breathtaking lobby adorned with Christmas trees, and up the beautifully decorated staircase to the Verandah where The Peninsula Express awaits you. Today, they have recreated a 1920s train carriage, where you and your family can enjoy festive-themed lunches and dinners and even high teas (insider tip: just book the high tea as you usually would through the lobby, and ask to be seated on the Peninsula Express, a minimum charge of HK$2,500 for 4 people applies). There is a miniature Alpine village set up outside The Verandah restaurant as well as an elaborate train set.

• The Peninsula Classic Afternoon Tea offers two different options: “Tea of Hope” Afternoon Tea and Festive Afternoon Tea.
• “Tea of Hope” Afternoon Tea is available from 25 November to 15 December 2023 and 27 December to 30 December 2023, with a minimum spending of HK$ 2,500.
• Festive Afternoon Tea is available from 16 December to 26 December 2023, with a minimum spending of HK$ 3,000.
• Lunch Buffet is available from 25 November to 14 January, excluding the Christmas Eve Gala lunch buffet, Festive lunch buffet, and New Year’s Eve Gala lunch buffet.
  • Monday to Friday has a minimum spending of HK$ 3,500.
  • Saturday has a minimum spending of HK$ 4,500.
  • Sunday has a minimum spending of HK$ 6,000.
• Dinner Buffet is available from 25 November to 14 January, excluding Christmas Eve Gala dinner buffet, Festive dinner buffet, and New Year’s Eve Gala dinner buffet, with a minimum spending of HK$ 6,000.
• Festive Buffet has a minimum spending of HK$ 8,500.
