Intervals Cocktail Bar Opens At Hong Kong Airport

Hot off the press! Intervals is an exciting new cocktail bar and concept that just opened at Hong Kong International Airport – right in time for the summer holidays.

Located HKIA’s new Skybridge, Intervals is set to reinvent your airport experience with elevated drinks and food pairings. Developed by Mei Mei Song, Director of Global Brands and Transformation of Plaza Premium Group, and Victoria Chow of acclaimed Hong Kong bar The Woods, the name “Intervals” is inspired by the idea that the time of day is fluid while traveling and is instead replaced by intervals of time – how long it takes you to clear security or walk to the gate, etc. In other words, every hour is cocktail hour at the airport!

Keeping in mind that travelers may be short on time, the Intervals’ drink program showcases a series of miniature sips, or “flights of cocktails” that have been tailored-made and expertly according to how much time you can spare – from 15 minutes to 45 minutes. Non-alcoholic “flights” are also available. Alongside perfectly executed cocktails, pinchos or tapas-style bar snacks are offered on a roving custom-made trolley, allowing guests to choose from Hong Kong prawn toast with sakura shrimp, fig and goat cheese on rye with honeycomb crumbs, and mini tacos with glazed turkey meatball amongst others! Enjoy this amazing and one-of-a-kind experience and savor your cocktail in front of unobstructed front-row views of Hong Kong International Airport’s runways.
