Bakehouse, Grégoire Michaud’s local artisanal bakery that gathered a cult following in its four years of providing Hongkongers with the finest pastry, along with artisanal goods that go hand in hand with it, just opened a new shop on Hong Kong island’s southside. After Wanchai, Soho and Tsim Sha Tsui, residents of Stanley – and those wandering around the coastal neighborhood for business or its many find comfort and delight in Michaud’s masterfully crafted creations for breakfast, lunch, and all bites in-between.
Stop by Bakehouse for that fresh, hot morning loaf of sourdough bread (think classics like baguette and seeded or delicacies like walnut & fig), freshly brewed coffee paired with hearty sweet and savory croissants, danishes and tarts, or a range of salads, rich egg dishes and mouth-watering sandwiches to boot (and to share!).
Bakehouse's offer may be wider than Stanley’s waterfront, but the common denominator are premium, hand-picked ingredients combined each day on site into perfect bites for both picky eaters and gourmands big and small!
