Become A Role Model With Inspiring Girls Hong Kong!

If we could command song lyrics by Queen Bey to be true, that would be without a doubt the answer to this question, “Who run the world? GIRLS.” And Inspiring Girls Hong Kong is on the path to achieving just that. 

According to The Women’s Foundation Hong Kong, boys are more likely to embark on STEM careers than girls, that just 55% of females are working, and only 13.6% of HSI listed companies have female directors on their boards. These are just a few things that can be changed when we inspire our girls to go after what they want and raise their aspirations. 

What Does Inspiring Girls Hong Kong Do?

• The charity connects girls (aged 10 to 18) with female role models through different mediums. It could be school talks, face-to-face smaller group discussions, or events sponsored by their partners. They have a digital library that girls can access for free. Their resource hub contains videos of females sharing their stories – about their careers, how they reached their goals, and how they continuously improve to become better at what they do. 

How to get involved?

• Get involved – it’s not complicated and oh-so-rewarding!  Any woman with a story to tell, experiences, and dreams of their own that they can share to inspire the next generation of women is welcome to join as a role model.  You choose how often you want to volunteer based on your schedule!
