If you’ve overdosed on nasi goreng and satay and are craving some top notch Chinese food then head down to Happy Chappy restaurant in Seminyak – it’s spacious, relaxed and totally kid-friendly.
You’re just not trying hard enough if you can’t find anything to eat on the extensive Cantonese style menu. There’s the fabulous Hong Kong style fried rice, lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork, live seafood and bbq pork, chicken and duck. Leave some room for sweets and indulge in a scoop of fried ice cream or the banana-chocolate spring rolls.
* DIM SUM: The weekend dim sum is buzzing from 11am until 2:30pm and has all your favorites including fluffy steamed pork buns, shrimp dumplings, har gow and of course, the much loved but still scrumptious spring roll. Fancy a drink before dining?
* DRINKS: Head to the Shanghai-inspired Dragon’s Den bar where you’ll be mesmerized by the salt water aquarium and hand carved mahogany dragon. Drinks aren’t bad, either!
* CRAB NIGHT: Keep an eye out for special nights such as the Crab Night, which happens every Friday and the Hong Kong Babi Guling (Suckling Pig) which is served every Saturday and Sunday.
