East Coast Park and Gardens By The Bay are some of the most popular and scenic spots in Singapore. But listen up – there’s a newly opened space in the vicinity that will make a journey to the West all that worth it: Bukit Gombak Park!

Whether you’re a pet owner or fitness enthusiast, you’ll definitely have something to look forward to. Located within walking distance from Bukit Gombak MRT station, the expansive space features the neighborhood’s first Dog Run, where doggos can run and roam free. Meanwhile, kids will flock to the outdoor Play Area, where there is a slide and other fun amenities like a balancing beam.

Fitspos can take on a walk up the Hill Trek – 108 steps surrounded by lush greenery everywhere you turn or work up a sweat at the fitness area.  If you’re wondering where to spend some quality family time, bring the kiddos to the Butterfly Garden at the park’s summit, where you and the little ones can challenge each other to spot 20 different species of butterflies. Don’t worry if you get peckish, since you can wind down at the nearby Whisk and Paddle cafe for a meal too.

With so many things to see and do at this new shared public space, it’s time to plan a family day out together and get some Vitamin D!
