The award-winning Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will bring its 360-degree digital immersive art experience to the shores of Singapore, debuting for the first time in Southeast Asia this March 2023, at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), B1 Forum.
Organized by H&B, in partnership with Exhibition Hub, Fever, and RWS, the must-see experience is set to stun with expansive galleries that offer total immersion into the world of Vincent Van Gogh, one of the most well-loved Dutch influential artists of all time. Expect a showcase of more than 300 of Van Gogh’s sketches, drawings, and paintings, alongside floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall large-scale digital projections, providing a refreshing way to experience art and the appreciation of the life of Van Gogh and his most famous works.
Further enhancing this debut Singapore edition is the introduction of two special Japanese culture-grounded showcase segments curated as a tribute to the Japonisme movement that wields a strong influence on Van Gogh’s artwork style. Visitors will explore the impact of the ancient art of Japanese woodblocking on the Western art scene, and experience an authentic matcha tea ceremony that stands as a symbolic representation of the ‘Wabi-Sabi’ principles.
The exhibition is also accompanied by its signature Virtual Reality (VR) experience, which allows visitors to traverse into “A Day in the Life of the Artist” and discover the inspirations behind several of Van Gogh’s most beloved works. From a thematic cafe experience to yoga classes and art jamming sessions, an exciting line-up of visitor experience activities awaits you within this mesmerizing space!
