Trying overseas cuisine during holidays is a favorite experience for many. But with the travel lockdown still in full swing, we’ll have to make do with what we have within our country. Luckily, Singapore has plenty of restaurants serving up authentic, quality food. For a taste of Moroccan food, you can head to the newly opened La Fez Café & Bakery.
Nestled in the neighborhood of East Coast, the cozy 70-seater eatery sports a Moroccan-inspired design, with arch entryways, lush greenery and pink-washed walls. Start your meal off with Ziz Latkes (SG$12.90) – Moroccan-style potato pancakes – to share. Mains include delights like the Fez Cous With Chicken (SG$28.90) and Aamir Lamb Tagine (SG$30.90). All dishes are also served on gorgeous plating, or cooked in traditional Moroccan earthenware!
You can choose to sit indoors to admire the pink-hued surroundings, or pick a table outside for an alfresco vibe too.
It’s not common to find Moroccan food in Singapore. The pink décor also adds to the comforting ambience of the restaurant!
Those looking to introduce their taste palettes to healthy, Moroccan dishes.
Reservations are required for bookings during Fridays to Sundays, which you can make on their website.
