Looking for a cheap lunch spot for the kids – IKEA Tampines offers a delightful selection of Swedish food in its spacious restaurant and cafe on the second floor.
This family-friendly eatery offers affordable meals from salads, mains to desserts. Their popular dishes are the famous Swedish meatballs and deep-fried chicken wings. Kids meals are available at SG$3 with choices such as meatballs, nuggets, and pasta. They also carry a halal menu.
This dining place is great for kids of any age. There are baby chairs, high chairs for toddlers, children’s cutleries and an interactive play area. The restrooms and baby changing room are located right next to the restaurant.
IKEA also offers free bottled baby food to kids aged 6 months and above (while stocks last).
If that’s not enough, there is a free supervised indoor playground called Småland on the ground floor. Kids get to play for up to one hour. There is limited capacity so be prepared to wait during weekends.
Fantastic value for money food and fun for kids. Plus - you can get your shopping done!
Families with young kids looking for an affordable option for quick eats.
Parking is free and the giant hypermarket is right opposite for any quick errands.
