Hong Kong government has announced that new labeling is required on all infant formula in Hong Kong! Why and what this means for parents? Nutritional and health claims used to promote infant formula will not be allowed in order to encourage breastfeeding in Hong Kong. For example, formulas and breast milk substitutes will no longer be able to have claims such as “excellent source of vitamins” or other claims targeted at children one and under.
In the interim, you will find sales of all the major brands at local baby stores (including Bumps To Babes) in order to clear stock.
The government announces new requirements for infant milk.
Parents and parents-to-be!
There are a lot of sales now on infant milk too if you want to stock up. Many will be removed from shelves for a few months after in order to adhere to proper labeling.
