Kai Tak Sky Garden Hong Kong

Prepare yourself, people. The Kai Tak Sky Garden is officially open! Few would have known that this large boat-like cruise terminal is a hidden gem for outdoor family play. The rooftop park offers stunning landscaped walkways, a water play area for the kids, and top views of Hong Kong’s famous skyline! The whole place offers a relaxing vibe – take a mini excursion, it’s a real treat. Opening hours are from 7am to 11pm daily.

EXPLORE - THE GREAT ROOFTOP PARK

This newly opened 23,000 square foot rooftop park is worth the trip! Pack a picnic and enjoy top views of Hong Kong's skyline, perfectly sculpted gardens, and loads of paved walkways to walk, stroll, or scooter. It has three elevated levels, the Garden Plaza, the Lawn Plaza and the Fountain Plaza. We recommend timing it with a sunset of the harbor...bring the camera! Plus, there are lotus ponds, covered sitting areas, and bathrooms with changing tables.

  • Waterplay Area At Kai Tak Terminal

    WATERPLAY FOR KIDS

In the central area of the park, you will find a Fountain Plaza, a kids water play area complete with squirters and open space for the kids to run around. Ideal for the little ones looking for a cool-off. The area is free for all to enjoy. Be sure to bring a change of clothes for the little ones.

  • The Old Hangar

    RESTAURANTS

The Old Hangar is a rather trendy restaurant with a huge outdoor area for kids to explore. The owner is a father of two and The Hangar is his third restaurant opening in Hong Kong. Pop by for a craft beer, a family brunch, or a sunset bite. Be sure to make reservations, especially if going in a large group. The popular Origami Kids Cafe is here too.  Kids and enjoy activities and games while parents indulge in some coffee and snacks. And if you wish to devour some local delight, head to Cafe Aberdeen.
