Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong is the latest addition to the Shrewsbury family, which dates back to the opening of the sister school, the UK-based Shrewsbury School, in 1552. Centered on traditional British values, Shrewsbury Hong Kong adopts an innovative approach to teaching and learning.
Closely affiliated with the English National Curriculum, the school provides a rigorous structure upon which student performance can be accurately gauged. At the same time, the school adopts a dynamic, research-centered approach. They offer over 900 places to students aged between 3 and 11.
Students are exposed to the Chinese environment daily. They have a Secondary School Selection Program, which is tailored for all students. It starts in Year 4 and they will have regular meetings and follow up till their graduation. For example this year, Shrewsbury has invited 4 major international schools in Hong Kong to meet with their Year 4 to 6 parents.
