Reception students enjoy an adventure in learning while feeling secure and valued. Kellett believes that a balance of adult-directed and uninterrupted child-initiated play ensures the best outcomes for their youngest students. As the Reception year progresses, learning becomes more formal in preparation for Year One, with students developing strong reading, writing and numeracy skills.
