Vote For The Most Popular Project At The Hong Kong Science Fair 2023

This June don’t miss the Hong Kong Science Fair where 120 shortlisted teams from primary and secondary local and international schools will be showcasing their outstanding innovative projects. This year’s theme is “Think Big, Be Innovative” and has received around 400 project submissions from 1,200 teams since September 2022. Submissions need to fall into one of the Fair’s four thematic topics around “Smart City & Smart Home”, “Medical & Healthcare”, “Sustainability” and “Life Full Of Surprise”.

The shortlisted projects from this year highlight students’ abilities in identifying social issues faced in everyday life and finding innovative solutions to tackle them. Topics covered include disease prevention, environmental protection, and energy conservation, demonstrating students’ concern over peoples’ needs and their societal inclusion. Winners will be announced at the fair according to their category and there will be Most Popular Award voted for by on-site visitors.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy four fun-filled educational interactive zones: 1) Development of the Aerospace Industry in HK where you can learn about the Starlink project and satellites; 2) Wave Glow Recycling Workshop, 3) ‘Racing Simulator Experience’ by Z-Challenger Academy – where you can explore mechanical engineering and design through a thrilling VR supercar-simulator driving experience; and 4) ‘Water Gummy Lab’ – a fun experience of creating unique, innovative works by applying scientific principles.
