Visit The Wishing Stars At Lee Tung Avenue This Festive Season

Lee Tung Avenue in Hong Kong presents “The Wishing Stars,” an enchanting installation designed by acclaimed artist Victor Wong. This immersive experience features a “Corridor of Wishes” adorned with over a million acrylic beads and a giant Christmas star. From December 5, 2023, to January 14, 2024, Lee Tung Avenue will shine day and night, offering visitors a captivating experience. The festivities also include Santa Claus’s visit, Nordic Christmas markets, and a limited edition postcard collection. The Christmas campaign will kick off on December 5, 2023, with live music and dance performances.

Lee Tung Avenue’s The Wishing Stars Event Highlights:

• Santa Meet & Greet: in collaboration with Finnair, Santa Claus will be landing in Lee Tung Avenue on November 28, 2023!
• Two Nordic Christmas markets:
  • Lee Tung Avenue is teaming up with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and Finnish Chamber of Commerce to host two enchanting Christmas markets that capture the essence of Nordic coziness. The “Swedish Winter 2023” market, organized in collaboration with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and supported by the local Swedish Consulate General, will take place on December 1 and 2, 2023. This family-oriented market will feature a Santa Claus Meet and greet and a Swedish Christmas market showcasing traditional Nordic winter experiences, gifts, treats, and delectable cuisine.
  • On December 9 and 10, 2023, the “Finnish Northern Light” market will offer marketgoers the opportunity to indulge in signature Scandinavian food and discover Christmas ornaments crafted by local Hong Kong artisans. Workshops, including gingerbread biscuit making and beginner Finnish language lessons, will provide a comprehensive Nordic cultural experience. A portion of the market proceeds will be donated to local charities.
